Tour of the Manor Part 1

All right, this post isn’t much anecdotal, but for those of you interested, I thought I’d give a short tour of the inside of my castle.

It’s a little difficult to lay out in a direct route, because as anyone here could tell you, the floor plan kind of goes wherever it feels like going. Nonetheless I can show you around the highlights.

For ease of loading-times, I’m splitting this tour up into three sections, based on floor level. We’ll start from the bottom.

On the reception level floor:

The stairs to the Bistro (on-campus pub):

The refectory:

The red telephone booth (free local calls! :D ) :

The normal telephone booths, one of which has a microwave in it (I didn't ask) :

Signed water pipes:

Coolest Bathroom Ever:

(It still keeps going. There's a little lounge area down there where I sometimes hide to do my homework).

The Spiral(ish) Stairs up to the State Rooms:
And another place to hide and read Shakespeare at.

Now we'll venture upstairs to the State Rooms...
